Savor Fall at Rideau Hall

On Saturday, September 23rd 2017 we went to Rideau Hall. In the “back yard” there were merchant tents that were set up. And people were handing out samples. We first went to a tent where they gave out apples, and samples of apple cider. It was refreshing. We went to see a demonstration of ice carving. The carve was a squirrel with a nut. The ice was slowly melting, but it wasn’t that bad. We also had some yogurt as a beverage, and then we went to have some cake! It was apple cinnamon cake with butterscotch sauce. It was super tasty!
